the wood used in each frame is recycled scrap from a local cabinet shop (the artists father's). it is arranged in a patchwork fashion, with close attention paid to enhancing the character of each piece. dimension, grain pattern, and knottiness, differe from frame to frame, making each piece entirely unique.
