chairs are the mainstay of PicK YouR Seat. whether you have an old chair you want to revamp, or you choose one from our collections, you are guaranteed something original. we buy chairs new on occassion, but generally scour the streets, salvage yards and consignment shops for something with a bit more character. bottom line, custom-design, and custom-painting transform any chair into something totally unique.
a niche market for stools developed when a coaching friend of mine requested a small stool which could be used during huddles. PicK YouR SeaT recreated the team logo used the team colors to transform the piece. we have also created table height and bar height stools to complement any decor, and brand new to the collection is the PicK YouR SeaT step stool.
i began building childrens' furniture five years ago for my neice and nephew. table and chair sets, desks, custom headboards, you name it, we can do it!
unique design paired with quality craftsmanship can make for a fantastic custom-built piece. whether it is a bench, coffee table, or desk, it's sure to be something to cherish.
the PicK YouR SeaT accessories are the newest addition to the line-up. birdhouses, picture frames, custom lamps, jewlery boxes and more. if you can think of it, we can make it look good!
the "pick up people" are the most unique addition to the PicK YouR SeaT family. i like to describe them as "mannequins for the modern child." from ballerinas to football players, the pick up people add sophistication and whimsy. as always we strive to create functional art, so not only are these mannequins fun for kids, they are helpful to parents. tomorrow's complete outfit can be selected and arranged on your pick up person the night before school (the back of each person is equipped with some handy-dandy hooks and a shoe shelf). after school the procedure can be reversed, keeping clothes from ever 'resting' on the floor.
